OptimAD
Role: UX Research, UI Design

My key tasks:UX Research, Sketching, Wireframing, Prototyping

Timeline: February 2023
The problem
OptimAD team needs approval from the investors in order to get the application developed.
The project goal
The team approached us with a tableau version of the application in order to analyse possible workflows and UI redesign.
With this improvement the team will pitch the project with a stronger position to have it approved.
An introduction
About the project
OptimAD is an application that we have designed to help clients optimize their ad campaigns on digital advertisement platforms.
Understanding the problem space
What are the challenges that companies face when the create a strategy for their ads campaigns?
Some companies are decreasing their revenue because they fail on their ad campaign strategy.
The team conducted a research that helped them came up with a brilliant solution for businesses:
Budget reallocation functionality
This functionality will have these characteristics:
- Prioritize campaigns based on best CPA or ROAS for the same product
- Increase daily budget of best performing campaigns by taking budget of worst performing campaigns
- Limit increase to 20% every 4 days maximum to avoid stressing bid strategy
- And some others that can not be disclosed...

Testing iterations
Ideating for possible solutions
Solution
We had the demo that the team had provided and our main challenges for the UI were these ones:
- Collaborate with the team to redefine possible new workflow.
- Implement new design system
- Include budget reallocation feature in the UI
First steps to re-design...
I had several calls with the team and took a screenshot of each screen on the demo.
I wanted to understand the features
and workflow.
I used Miro to ask several questions in order to bring alive the most accurate UI version to the team.

Including budget reallocation function
One of the main challenges was to include the budget reallocation function within the UI.
We had several calls with the team and after sketching different options for the feature the team decided that the best option was to make an interactive button that will change call the action depending on what you wanted to do as a user
